Solstad Maritime (SOMA) has secured two firm contracts for its 2009-built construction support vessel (CSV) for subsea and ROV support activities in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The contracts have been awarded for the CSV Normand Australis and will be performed in direct continuation of each other, with work expected to begin in December.
They have a combined firm duration of 250 days and include a combined 75 days of options beyond the firm periods.
Solstad said that the combined value of the firm contracts is substantial, which implies a value of between $10 million and $30 million. The firm contract value is estimated at the lower end of this interval.
Normand Australis is 82 meters long and can accommodate 118 persons.
