Norway's DOF Group is selling its 2018-built subsea construction vessel (CSV) Skandi Implementer to an undisclosed buyer.
Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF Group, said: “While we have not actively pursued a sale of this high-end subsea vessel, the terms are accretive for the DOF Group and its shareholders, making this the right decision.”
The vessel is planned to be delivered to the new owner in the second quarter of 2027.
The sale will contribute to a material reduction in the group’s net debt, the company said.
Skandi Implementer was designed for subsea construction, inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) and ROV services up to 3,000 meters of depth. The 137.6-meter-long vessel offers accommodation for 129 persons.
