Painting & Protective Coating

Surface preparation, coating supply, and application under one contract

We deliver industrial painting and protective coating for vessels, storage tanks, pipe racks, structural steelwork, and offshore assets, covering the whole job from surface preparation through to the inspection record that goes into the handover file.

Coating systems are specified to the corrosivity category of the individual asset area rather than to the site as a whole, which is where most premature failures begin. Marine coatings supplied under this service carry class society type approvals, and the blasting media holds current PETRONAS Protective Coating Technical Committee approval.

Coating Scope
  • Abrasive blasting and power tool cleaning to specified ISO 8501-1 grades
  • Structural steel, pipe rack, and tank exterior coating systems
  • Marine and immersion coating for hulls, ballast tanks, and splash zone assets
  • Tank and pressure vessel internal lining, with holiday detection
  • Rope access, cradle, and suspended platform application at height
  • Coating inspection and QA records compiled area by area
How We Control Quality
  • Surface cleanliness and profile measured before any coat is applied
  • Ambient and substrate conditions recorded at every coat
  • Dry film thickness assessed to ISO 19840 rather than sampled by eye
  • Inspection hold points agreed in advance with named sign-off

Workforce Solutions

Workforce Accommodation

Certified worker housing, catering, transport, and site management

We operate certified workforce accommodation for projects that need to house a resident workforce, run as a managed service rather than a room booking. Catering, laundry, welfare, transport, and discipline are managed together, because a workforce that is badly housed does not stay.

Accommodation in Malaysia is governed by Act 446, which requires a Certificate for Accommodation issued by the Director General of Labour before employees may be housed. The duty sits on the employer as well as on the accommodation provider, so booking beds elsewhere does not move the liability.

What Is Included
  • Purpose-built accommodation blocks operated to Act 446 standards, 72 rooms to a block at 16 residents a room
  • On-site canteen and catering, planned around the shift pattern
  • Washroom and water provision per block, with self-service and managed laundry
  • Prayer room, multi-purpose training and reading room, recreation and sports areas
  • Mini market, barber, communications, and money remittance on site
  • Scheduled site transport arranged around shift changeover
How It Is Managed
  • 24-hour security with CCTV coverage at strategic points
  • Quarantine room and a route to care for residents who are unwell
  • Resident discipline monitored against published house rules
  • Scheduled maintenance, weekly fogging, and waste segregation
Our Pengerang Facility

2,304 beds Two three-storey blocks operating today, 72 rooms to a block at 24 rooms a floor and 16 residents a room, a short drive from the Pengerang Integrated Complex.

760 per sitting Canteen capacity in a single session, so shifts are not queuing behind each other.

Act 446 Operated under a Certificate for Accommodation, the precondition for housing employees lawfully.
